High Country Playground

The mountains, the flowers on the meadow, the sunlight and shadows all inspired me to do this painting. All I needed were Kelsey and Taylor, my grandchildren, catching butterflies. That was easy to do by hanging dollar bills on the ends of fishing poles and letting them try to catch them. Taylor loved doing it, but Kelsey would cry every time she caught it because she couldn't keep the dollar bill. She did eventually get to keep it which made her happy.
