Grandmother

The scene for this is in Magnolia Gardens outside of Charleston, South Carolina. It was a beautiful old plantation house and lush gardens with wisteria and other spring flowers flourishing. It reminded me of my mother's yard. I loved the sunlight and shadows falling across the foreground. I added my mother and her roses in front of the house because she made it look so inviting and just like the place anyone would love to go and spend some special time with Grandmother. Time spent with Grandmother has always been very special in our family.
