Something Old, Something New

June loves old barns probably because she spent a lot of time in them growing up.  They are just really special to her, and something she  relates to so easily.  Anytime she see one, she is going to grab her camera and photograph it.  This old barn, the horse and new colt, along with the wildflowers made the perfect subject for this painting.  The old barn was one she found on the outskirts of Clifton, Texas, with the huge oak overshadowing it.  She added the wildflowers, and the horse & colt were Craig's, her son's.
