"Longhorn Country" is a scene in Palo Duro Canyon . When June was there to do research this area of the canyon was dry, but it was clearly evident that water ran through here when there was plenty of rainfall. Since she loves painting water, she just made that happen. Some of these longhorns belong to the Dudleys and others she found. To her this is a perfect place for longhorns.
