Back to the Herd

During one of June's awesome trips to Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah, while riding horses across the striking red rock country, she got a great shot of James Dixon and his horse.  She has heard and read many of their stories of moving and working cattle up on the mesas told by James & by Don Weller in person & in his books.  She could just envision James driving a mama cow & her calf to get them back with the herd.  Some of their stories will make your hair stand straight up, but she chose a more relaxing, peaceful moment to depict.  To June this would be a wonderful way to spend a day.
