Rocky Mountain Elk

In Estes Park, Colorado,  with some art friends on a photo shoot June got to see many wildlife including these three female elk who were just grazing along this running creek.  Seeing wildlife is always exhilarating to June, & even more so when with art friends.  They just hung around where we were letting us get many shots of them. Painting them let June relive those moments.
