All Ears

"All Ears" is of a baby burro's head.  Several years ago when June spent some time in San Miguel, her friend and she hired a driver to take them out into the countryside to see the really rustic way of life there.  On their  way back into San Miguel a mama and baby burro crossed the road just as they got even with them.  The driver stopped to let them out to photograph them.  June has done several paintings of the baby boro with this one being the most recent.

This painting was chosen for the 2017 invitation to the Museum of Western Art's annual "The Party" art exhibition and sale & for their ad in Art of the West.
