Banks of the Guadalupe

June has spent many hours on the banks of the Guadalupe enjoying every moment.  It didn't matter if she was in the water swimming, underneath a waterfall, enjoying rushing waters, or simply walking the river bed or its banks looking for a painting.  She has done numerous paintings of the Guadalupe and will surely do many more.  This is a simple design in which the light and the tall grasses really caught her eye.  The way the light hit the tall grasses and the blues in the water and the background caught June's eye.

June contemplated doing this painting for several years, & when invited to do a demo for an art organization, this was the painting she decided to demo.  A few little touch ups in her studio completed it.
