Magdalena

"Magdalena" is a painting of a beautiful, outgoing, vivacious young lady from Germany who is one of the wranglers at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab.  She is very comfortable with horses.  Every year when I go there to meet with my art buddies, the Don Weller group, I admire her.  This is the first of several paintings I have planned for Magda.  She is a natural on or with a horse.  On one of our trail rides into Mary Jane Canyon I got this shot of her just relaxing while we were all shooting photos of two other riders.  It often pays to look the other direction when photographing  scenes or riders because the best shots just might be behind you.

Shipping is  included in the price of the painting.
