Buckboard Spring Seat Wagon Ride

June has spent many weeks during August and during the fall seasons exploring the Texas Hill Country.  The limestone cliffs have a tremendous appeal to her.  She loves exploring the Hill Country rivers and landscapes, and can just imagine a cowboy out on a ride with his horse or being pulled by draft horses in an old timey buckboard spring seat wagon stopping to just take in this magnificent view.  It is one of the blessings of living in the Texas Hill Country especially during this time of the year. 

June was fortunate to attend one of the CA workshops in Big Sky, Montana, where there were many cowboys, horses, wagons, Indians, and all kinds of Western memorabilia to paint and photograph.  Lucky for June, she got this great shot of the cowboy, horses, and wagon she put in this painting.
