The Descent

June is in my element when she arrives at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah, located on the Colorado River.  She always get to ride Purdy, & she is constantly taking pictures.  She loves painting Devon on any horse, but capturing him on Ringo stepping out onto lower ground was just awesome.  Devon is  a top hand wrangler & knows horses.  It was just a beautiful day to ride.  The chamisa or broom brush was past blooming with just faded flowers, but she easily revived it with many pictures of chamisa she had in her files.  She loved the way this painting came together & the color harmony is perfect.  If you would like a giclee of this please contact June at 979-229-3838 or [email protected].  $325 for a 20x16 giclee
