This is one of our Hereford cows & calves. It is so enjoyable & peaceful for June to just watch mama cows & their babies & the way they communicate with each other. So typical of a mama cow gently nudging her baby calf to go the direction she wants her calf to go. Thanks to her son, Mark, for the title, Gentle Nudges.
This painting received the Artists' Choice Award at the American Plains Artists Show in North Platte, Nebraska, at the Prairie Arts Center, a huge honor.
