New Day Dawning

June felt very fortunate to be a part of a group to go to this private ranch is West Texas.  It was quite the experience for her with Bob Wygant and other artists. It used to be a part of the private, distinguished Prade Ranch in Texas and may still be.  In places the river bed was the road, but if you didn't know where to drive on the river you might get your vehicle in too deep of water.  In this particular part of the river the water was very shallow just shimmering over the limestone rock.  Just imagined how it would look at sunrise because the lighting was so similar, and that is how she painted it.  A beautiful part of the great state of Texas, & June captured it the way she wanted to remember it.
