Strawberry Roan

June loves horses, riding horses, looking at horses, & painting horses.  On her Moab, Utah, trips she gets to do all of those things.  It was on one of those trips during a riding break that the horses were all tied up to tree branches when she noticed this beautiful strawberry roan.  Roan horses and cattle have always appealed to June.  Her dad had one particular roan cow that was one of her favorites and still remembered today.  Painting this particular strawberry roan brought back many memories of her childhood and working cattle with her dad.
