River Bottom Buddies

I got the research for this painting one day on one of my son's places when we were working cattle.  It is in the Navasota River Bottom, and there is a lot of low country typical of river bottom land, rich and fertile.  On this particular day, there were a lot of low places holding water from recent rains and the river overflowing its banks.  I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when Flop & Ike were driving the last of this herd of cattle through this area.   This painting is also available as a giclee, but you must contact the artist as it is a special order..  Contact the artist for more information.
